So we (D4K) recently had our 2nd Dinner with the Stars fundraiser in Manhattan Beach, CA. The Stars who attended this event included Eric Fonoimoana (D4K Founder/President/2000 Gold Medalist), Dain Blanton (2000 Gold Medalist/AVP Star), Albert Hannemann (AVP Star/D4K VP), Randy Stoklos, Sinjin Smith, Tim Hovland, Dane Selznick, Marty McSorley (Hockey), Sean O'Donnell (Hockey), Shannon Boxx (US Soccer Gold Medalist), Matt Fuerbringer (AVP Star), Anthony Medel (AVP Star), Angela Lewis (AVP Star), and Keao Burdine (AVP Star). The evening turned out to be a huge success!! Thank you to everyone that helped (D4K Board members, Mira Costa D4K Service Club members, our photographers Ken & Anna, The Stars, &The Bain Family) and everyone that donated!!

First up was the men's exhibition match that was played right before the ACE match. The men's match featured Albert Hannemann/Sean Rosenthal vs. Jeff Carrlucci/Anthony Medel. The women's match was played a few days later and featured Christina Hinds/Angela Lewis vs. Keao Burdine/Paige Davis. Both matches were a ton of fun....but I had to hand it to the girls....that match was awesome!

So on most the Volleyball Vacations the pros play the infamous game of ACE. This year was awesome. My team consisted of Albert Hannemann, Sean Rosenthal, Keao Burdine, Angela Lewis, Andy LoCasio, and myself. The other team was Jeff Carlucci, Paige Daivs, Christina Hinds, Eric T-Bone Masson, Mitch Sadowsky, and John Meeks. GOOD TIMES!
